If so, we are delighted to offer service opportunities at any of several TWAM homes in distant lands. Go to the Visit Our Homes page and review the various settings to see where your heart leads. If God calls... answer the phone!Whether your desire is to spend a week of vacation volunteering at a home/school or you feel led to spend a few months, we welcome you with open arms. Volunteering at a school will almost certainly be life changing as you discover the "real" world experienced by most of the globe's population. One thing is for certain: your heart will come alive in the midst of the smiling young people who openly demonstrate love and appreciation for your presence. But the real blessing happens inside as you allow God to do good things through your willingness. When we serve God's kingdom, we are most blessed when we grasp this truth: it's not YOU doing something for God so much as it is God using YOU to touch a life. We have the distinct privilege of acting as the hand of God. It is HE who gives YOU to them. Our willingness for involvement testifies on behalf of a compassionate Father.
With or without us, God will accomplish His purpose. |
