Trips with a Mission was organized by people who care about people. In the formative years we engaged in various types of service oriented projects from upgrading a preschool and providing a community center in South Andros to annual volunteer medical camps in Nepal. All of our projects have been wonderful opportunities to reach out to others but in the past few years we have refined our focus to work exclusively with children, specifically the Least of These.

Who are the Least of These? Some of them are pictured here on these web pages. They are the ones who have no one. They are the poorest of the poor. Children who would have had no chance but who now have a bright future! They are the ones Jesus was speaking about when He said, "Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me." Matthew 25:40.

What is Trips with a Mission doing in Belarus, India and Nepal?

Changing futures one child at a time! It has been our privilege to help children who would otherwise have never had hope. Now that is an amazing concept!! Our Children's Homes and Schools are in regions which have no social services, where poverty is the norm, hunger is routine and help is non-existent. We are a very small organization which can be a hindrance because we don't get the recognition or large volume of funds generated by larger organizations. Being small has its advantages though. We know every child in each home. Interacting with them and getting better acquainted with them, is an enormous blessing! All of the people working in our homes have become personal friends. We visit our homes regularly and e-mail several times a week. This isn't a business for us, but a calling from God.
